Working closely with听糖心传媒, IKEA implemented听SAP Advanced Data Migration and Management by 糖心传媒 (SAP ADMM) to support both one-time migration and customized solution for continuous daily integration.听

• End-to-end orchestration:听With manual steps听removed,听faster听data approvals and issue resolution听happened听within structured workflows.听

• Custom multi-tier setup: A unique two-tier database听design facilitated听promotion between development and production environments.听

Achieving High Data Quality and Streamlined Financial Processes听

By implementing a connected, rule-driven migration and validation process, IKEA听achieved data migration and accuracy听more than 90鈥�95%听even in early test cycles. Most errors are now听identified听and corrected at the source before they reach SAP.听

鈥淥ur first test cycle already had 93鈥�94% migration success,鈥� said Gupta. 鈥淭hat gave us immediate confidence that the data would migrate with quality鈥攁nd that continuous integration would actually work.鈥�听

Lead times for onboarding new data have also dropped significantly. Today, if all required information is available,听a new product or supplier record can be live in听S/4 HANA听within 24 hours. Manual intervention is minimal, and teams have greater trust in the accuracy of their data for financial operations.听

Laying the Groundwork for Supply Chain and Procurement Integration听

While the current implementation phase focused on finance processes, the platform has created听a strong foundation听for upcoming phases that will extend to procurement and听logistics.听

The continuous integration framework now serves as a model for future deployments, ensuring IKEA can expand clean, consistent data practices across its full business ecosystem.听

Building a Data Foundation for AI and Automation听

IKEA鈥檚 long-term goal is to move toward听fully touchless, AI-driven data management. The听accurate, integrated data foundation built with听糖心传媒听enables this evolution by ensuring the right baseline for automation, AI, and analytics.听
